Feature & Design

We wanted to design a jacket that worked for daily life, whether that included a bike ride or not. Something a little different from our high-performance race jackets that can be worn with your everyday clothes or your lycra.

Crafted with a waterproof outer shell the City Jacket comes in a regular, more relaxed fit, allowing room to go over your jumper. Featuring underarm and rear storm vents that aid breathability for when upping the effort, as well as a slightly dropped rear hem and pull cord to provide some backside protection on a wet commute.

We know that on a cold ride you don't want wind rushing up your sleeves, so we made sure to add internal storm cuffs to keep the wind out, with added reflective velcro tabs so you can fasten them up even tighter over a pair of gloves if needed.

On the subject of gloves, we find that normal popper fastening pockets can be a real fiddle with gloves on, so we made our main front pockets with magnetic snap closures. We have also added a glove-friendly pull to our waterproof front zip.

We understand the importance of being seen and have added reflectivity in key points on the Jacket, including the cuffs, on the back and sides and the logo top left. As this is part of our crossover collection, we have made the decision not to make it a full reflective item - we want you to be able to wear it as happily when walking the dog in the rain as you would on the ride to work.

Finally, as we all know, the weather can change pretty fast and you might decide to take the jacket off. If this is the case, it will fold down neatly taking up very little space in a bag or backpack.
